Mime

Love cannot be in your heart
To grasp my arms and rip me apart.
How dare you shout in my ear,
Curses that no one should hear.
I’ve been through this too many times
I wish that I were a mime.
A mime with a flame and pain in my mute voice
That when I imitate life,
I’ll deafen you with silent noise.
Feel my words, feel my pain,
Watch me fall to my knees, going insane,
Listening to your brainwashing all day long
I’d rather drown myself to my favorite song,
Than hear the haunting words
You feel you have to say.

Prejudice/Descrimination..........STOP THE HATE!

"Prejudice refers to prejudgment: i.e. making a decision before becoming aware of the relevant facts of a case or event" (Wikipedia).

"Discrimination is a behaviour (an action), with reference to unequal treatment of people because they are members of a particular group" (Wikipedia).

Even though Prejudice and descrimination are two seperate things, sometimes they go hand in hand. What brings these behaviors to people? Is it where they come from? How this person is raised? Or is it just something they grow to believe?

I personally think that descrimination and prejudice comes from a persons own feelings and thoughts. An adult has full control of their mind to think what they want to think. Does this personally come from a deep place that leads them to have these behaviors? There are so many questions, but the answer lies inside the person that is conducting these behaviors.

Now, I know many people are wondering, "why in the world is she talking about this subject?". Do not worry, I am here to tell you! Recently in my bulletin inbox, I recieved this bulletin from two of my close friends that was titled, "F%#@ the Bible". In this bulletin many people showed the prejudice and descrimintion acts that I described before. I saw a lot of people saying, "ALL christians try to push their beliefs on people". I do think that a lot of christians do push their beliefs on people, but to say everyone who is a christian push their religion on people, is a false and very ignorant thing to say. I, personally am a christian, and I make it my goal to not push my religion on people. I appeciate everyone and their difference in beliefs. I don't care what you believe in or what you don't beleve in. What makes me like someone is the person they show me.

Another thing in this hate filled bulletin was people calling christians, "idiots". No one has the right to tell you that your religion is wrong or that you are stupid and "fake" for believeing this way. It is a show of full disrespect to the people you are targeting with your decriminating acts and comments. It makes me sick that someone would hate someone who believs a certain way.

This world is full of hate, please do not partake in this hate, show that you love and respect everyone, no matter what they believe in. Please, stop this bulletin from going around unless you want to say, I love everyone no matter what they believe in and so should everone else. I know most people, if not everyone wants peace and this is not the way to get this peace that we all long for.

To everyone who wrote in that bulletin, I still respect all of you no matter what you said, I just want to let you know that words do hurt and I know many people that this bulletin has hurt. STOP THE HATE!

To my friends who posted this bulletin (you know who you are), I just want to let you know, that I still love you and consider you my friend, but you hurt me with your words as well as some of your other friends. I have never spoken a word of my religion to you and I have never tried to convert you, cos i love you and respect you for what you believe in. I felt that I was disrespected by your words and it really effected me in a way that i have never felt. I felt a lot of hate from you, so much that it almost brought me to tears. Please, STOP THE HATE!

This journal is not meant to make you mad or hurt your feelings, it is to open your eyes to how much hate you showed with your comments.

I'll leave you with this simple statement again, STOP THE HATE!

My New Year Resolutions!

Here is what I hope to accomplish in 2008!

start eating more healthy (I just need to feel better)
not be so lazy
play my guitar more
stop getting so angry at people when I drive :P
take better care of myself
make better grades
stop drinking so much Kool-Aid
save some money
pray more
find new hobbies
not be so bored
be more friendly

ANGELS

Do you believe in angels? Well, I do...........I believe they were put around us to keep us safe and away from harm. Can you imagine, being in a car wreck and for some reason you do not go flying through the windshield? Could it be the fact that the impact wasn't hard enough, or could it be an Angel holding you tight against the seat? What do you think? I think that God gave us these protectors as a gift to us, to show us he is here, in control, and that he still loves us!!! He put the angels there to help us, not to hurt us..........If you believe in angels, what do you imagine them to look like? I would love to hear your opinions on angels, I think they're awesome!!!
